November 5th must have been a sad day for internet bingo players who spent their cash at Purely Bingo; the site suddenly redirected to another brand from the same owners, Paint The Town Bingo. An email received yesterday merely stated that Purely Bingo was forced to close by their software providers. Play ‘N’ Go.
According to the email received from the owners of Purely Bingo “the matter was taken out of their hands” and the site was forced to close. However, the email goes on to say that they are “currently looking for a new software provider” and that players with money in their account basically have to wait until the site re-opens on a new platform. We have to ask why players are made to wait? The money in their accounts were credited to Purely Bingo and the site must have had issues for the software provider to force it’s closure. It doesn’t appear to be an issue with the software as Zoom Bingo is also powered by Play ‘N’ Go.
When you visit the site you will find yourself redirected to a Dragonfish networked brand that is also owned by the same people responsible for Purely Bingo which makes you wonder, after having one brand closed down on them, why would players from Purely throw good money after bad depositing at their other brand?
It will be interesting to see how players react to the closure and no access to the money in their account. If you have any issues with this brand then feel free to take a look at our Bingo Problems page and drop us an email.
We had already made the decision to remove Purely Bingo from our pages a while ago after we had issues with non-payment from themselves. It would appear that players are now in the same boat!
