Bingo Blitz (click here for a full review) is one of the most popular Facebook Bingo apps available with over 936,000 monthly active users and whilst the app may have undergone a few difficulties of late with mostly attributed to a system error on the social networking site they are still proving to be the “app to beat” for the free bingo player. Things are set to change on 1st July with an alteration in how you purchase credits with Bingo Blitz.
Currently you can purchase Bingo Blitz credits directly through the app using Paypal and using Facebook credits. However the former option is to be removed and purchasing credits for Bingo Blitz will only be available using Facebook credits.
According to a post on the wall of Bingo Blitz the change is to be made following an amendment to “Facebook Policy” that is set to affect all of the games and applications available on the social networking site. Is this going to see a drop in sales of the Bingo Blitz credits? The only real difference between the two options appears to be the ways in which you can purchase credits. The Bingo Blitz current offering just sees Paypal as an a payment option. Purchasing Bingo Blitz credits with Facebook offers these options:
- Visa Debit
- Major Credit cards
- Via your mobile phone
- Ukash vouchers
- Visa Electorn
- Wallie Card
- Paysafe Card
- Bank Transfer
Personally, as much as I may like a game or app on Facebook I have never been interested in purchasing credits, direct with the app or through Facebook. I would prefer to take my cash and use it to play on one of the many online bingo brands and have the chance of winning REAL money but it’s obvious that not everyone is of the same mindset as me. And they say Euromillions is a tax on the stupid, they obviously haven't met people who spend money buying Facebook credits with no potential of REAL CASH winnings!
Other news from Bingo Blitz is that a recent “free credits” link posted on the official fan page of the app was marked as “spam” by a number of people resulting in the link becoming invalid leaving many “fans” a little disappointed.
