Jackpot JoyHow do internet bingo brands measure the success of their television advertising campaigns? Statistics, new players, revenue – it all comes into play but they must know they are doing something right when they get a free plug on prime time television. This happened on Saturday night when Harry Hill mentioned Jackpot Joy on his TV Burp.
Play NowDuring the program Harry Hill showed a clip of Ronnie preparing for her wedding to Jack with all the ladies chatting and telling her how beautiful she looked. Peggy’s sister was there and stated that ‘Peggy would be said to miss this’ and Ronnie looks forlorn saying “Yea, I really wish she was here’. In an effort to cheer her up Ronnie’s Mum said ‘I’m sure she is having fun wherever she is’. The clip ended there and Harry Hill said ‘She’s the Queen of Bingo on the Jackpot Joy ads!”

For the Jackpot Joy mention you need to watch from about 1.45 minutes in.
For Jackpot Joy this must have been a great piece of advertising, free and when most people are parked in front of the TV waiting for X Factor to come on. Whilst adverts in the commercial break are great many people usually get up and make a cup of tea so might miss the commercials. With the mention from Harry Hill it would be interesting to see if registrations to Jackpot Joy went up substantially on Saturday night!
Maybe we could arrange a 'FIGGGGGGGHHHT' between myself and Barbara Windsor to find out who exactly is the Queen of Bingo!
