Free bingo frenzy

There is soon to be a free bingo frenzy around the world of internet bingo as news broke today that DragonFish are soon to roll out free bingo on all their new bingo sites and any currently on their platform! For bingo players around the globe this is great news as we all try and make the pennies stretch in the current economic climate but what does this mean for sites like Cheeky Bingo, Costa Bingo and Posh Bingo who previously had a unique selling point?

Well firstly let’s explain who DragonFish are; this is the name of the “business to business” section of 888Holdings, the company who recently purchased Globalcom, the bingo software that powers internet bingo sites like Foxy Bingo, Costa Bingo and of course, 888Ladies. The Globalcom bingo software is also used to power a multitude of networked bingo sites like Bingo Jetset, Bingo Bongo and Biggest Bingo, to name but a few.

When Cheeky Bingo launched earlier this year there was a free bingo frenzy as players joined the site for the chance to play bingo for free and win real cash prizes; shortly afterwards Posh Bingo, previously a skin on the DragonFish network, re-launched as a standalone bingo site with the same free bingo offering as Cheeky Bingo. Just last month with saw the launch of a new bingo site called Costa Bingo with the same concept as Cheeky Bingo and the new Posh Bingo. These sites have been extremely popular and helped bring the free bingo frenzy to fever pitch but is it going to be overkill when Dragonfish bingo rolls out this option to all the skins as well?
