Betfred BingoIt would seem that when it comes to internet bingo software there are many changes happening in the online bingo world. The latest news is that Betfred Bingo are to change software from the current offering on PlayTech to the increasingly popular Virtue Fusion (VF) platform. More recently we have seen two big players in the world of internet bingo also change their software to Virtue Fusion.
Play NowBoth Virgin Bingo and Paddy Power Bingo recently moved from Parlay to VF and it is likely that more are to follow.
The most recent change for BetFred Bingo adds even more fuel to the fire with regard to the National Bingo Game coming online and the requirement rumoured to be that any internet bingo sites wanting to join in the big link game must be using the Virtue Fusion platform.
With the news that BetFred Bingo are to change software platforms what does this mean for their member base? When Virgin Bingo made the transition they were able to take their players across to the new bingo software with little or no interruption to the service; it is likely that the transition between PlayTech and Virtue Fusion for BetFred Bingo should go just as smoothly but with no official date for the new internet bingo launch we have yet to see how they plan on running the change.
