Please note: On 13th September 2011 Quiz Show Bingo was re-branded as Lights Camera Bingo, the review below, is relevant to both sites as at the point of re-branding nothing had really changed other than the name and the look of the homepage. As time progresses it may be that more features are added to the new Lights Camera Bingo and this information will be added to the new review.

Quiz Show Bingo opened it’s virtual doors to the internet bingo playing public on 23rd June 2011 and is operated by QSB Gaming. The software used is "proprietary" meaning that you won't find it at any other site online today! We can tell you that ex Think Bingo managers are involved in this new product too so there is knowledge of what a bingo player wants flowing through the site!  When you land on the home page of this brand you’re greeted by what can only be described as a cheesy game show host, apt considering the name of the brand! There are details of the welcome bonus, forum and jackpots also found on the welcome page but is this a brand worth a visit?

Registration to Quiz Show Bingo is very similar to that found at brands powered by the 888 software with the usual fields to complete. When it comes to the financial details section of the sign up process you have the option to not enter any information but should you choose to then you will receive 5 free quiz games although what these are appears to be a little bit of a mystery.

Once you have completed the registration process you have to validate your account through the welcome email despatched by Quiz Show Bingo, you can then login with your new username and password. The page that opens after you have logged in shows details of your bingo balances including real cash, bonuses, loyalty points and Quiz Stars. To the left of your screen you have the option to Play Now, Deposit, Check your Inbox or Refer a Friend.

We took advantage of the deposit bonus shown below and the options we had available where £5, £10, £20, £50, £100 and £500. You should be aware that the cash match bonus is only applied to deposits of £10 or more though. It was then straight into the bingo rooms to see exactly what Quiz Show Bingo has to offer the discerning internet bingo player!

From the bingo lobby you have four tabs to choose from; 90 ball, 75 ball, Quiz, Prebuy and Instants – each of these we have looked into more extensively further in the Quiz Show Bingo Review.  We chose the Lucky Stars room as a starting point with Quiz Show Bingo and immediately you notice that whilst there are similarities to the software used by 888/Globalcom/Dragonfish everything looks a little “fresher” than we are used to.

The room layout is pretty much the same with the bingo tickets taking up the majority of the room, chat to the left of your bingo tickets and instant win games above the chat rooms. You’ll even find the same presets below chat and the same virtual gifts boxes.

This brand definitely has potential but at the time of the review being written the site had literally just opened its virtual doors and as a standalone brand had very few players in the rooms although the Quiz Show Bingo pot prizes weren’t too bad! There is plenty happening at Quizshowbingo.com, and what really stood out for us was the ability to participate in the Quiz Games AND play bingo at the same time!

To get a 4 star rating on the day of launch is quite an achievement for Quiz Show Bingo but it was an absolute pleasure to review this site - no rush to close the site down and move on to the next, we really wanted to stay and play!

The Quiz tab boasts exactly what the name implies, a quiz game that boasts prizes for coming first, second or third .All prizes in the quiz room are paid into your REAL cash balance. From from 3pm until 11pm every day there is a live presenter in the Quiz room. A Quiz will take place every five minutes.

Guaranteed Jackpots

Currently there appears to be just one big guaranteed jackpot game on offer from Quiz Show Bingo but we doubt it will be very long before we see this brand offer a whole lot more!

The ShowStopper Whooper game, the inaugral one, is set to play on 15th July 2009 at 8pm. Tickets are £1 each and you could win a share of £1,000!
