Bingo Zest finally closed it's doors on 28th April 2011 but deposits where no longer able to be made at this site from 13th April 2011. As part of the CyberBingo network this was just one of many brands to hit the "closed bingo sites" list.

Dependant on when you register a new account with Bingo Zest you may be entitled to a free trial bonus; this offer changes from time to time but at the time of the review all new players where welcomed to the site with a £25 free trial bonus. There are three bingo rooms available to play in at Bingo Zest but prior to making a deposit players are only granted access to the free trial room. Upon entering this room the rules of play are explained, the free trial money has no cash value and whilst you may be a winner in this room you cannot then move to play in the other rooms reserved for depositing players until a financial transaction at this internet bingo site has taken place.

Bingo Zest is part of a network of sites that use a Proprietary software platform restricted to this network. Other sites on the network include DailyExpress Bingo and CyberBingo. For internet bingo players this means all sites play for the same bingo prizes therefore increasing the pot prizes at Bingo Zest and the other sites on the network.

This brand is another of the infuriating internet bingo sites that treat new players as second class to depositing players; even in the free trial bingo room you cannot access the bingo chat rooms which means that to all intent and purpose the free trial is not what it seems. A trial would indicate that you get to try the internet bingo site on for size before choosing to make a deposit, this means being able to get a feel for the community, an integral part of any online bingo site. Blocking chat to new players means they cannot assess if this is the site for them or not they can merely see if they like how the bingo game plays.

On the plus side the games play smoothly and the interface is easy to use. Promotions are wide and varied with the network previously awarding a brand new Mini Cooper to one of their promotion winners. You may find however that this internet bingo site isn't exactly on the ball when it comes to updating their promotions but they do offer a cash back programme as well as bingo and loyalty points to their depositing players.

Where this brand differs from many others that are networked is that in the chat rooms each player is named with the site they are playing through showing at the end of their name - for example we are BallsUp@Zest whilst another player was jellybeanz@Sky - that's Bingo Sky not Sky Bingo.

Bingo Zest is one of those internet bingo sites that you won't sit on the fence about, you will either love it or hate it.

Not too sure if I liked this site or not, They gave you £20 free to try site out but you only allowed to try one room till you deposit, so you are not really getting the feel of what Bingo Zest is really like. Line and two line prizes are well small compared with full house prize.

Feel it could be split a wee bit better. No chat either until you have funded. I know lots of peeople would rather get a good feel of a online site to decide if they going to stay and deposit, so how you do that if no CM, no chat and only one room to try.

Bingo Zest offer a superb bonus of 300% and a great looking site but I think it was let down by poor games and a really awkward layout. My major problem is that the chat lobby covers your bingo cards so you can't really chat and play at the same time.

I also think the prizes for one and two lines were very low compared to ticket prices. I did try the slots and video poker as well but to be honest found them quite boring. With a little work and more players this could be a great site, definitely one to watch the future.

What a strange one Bingo Zest is, you can't go in chat until you have made a deposit which I think that is not a good thing as you cant get the feel of the site.

You can set "Quick Pick", sound on / off, animations on / off, show 3 - 2 -1 to go, chose how many of the last balls called you would like to show, auto daub, manual daub, daubing mode, ticket sorting and best ticket on / off.

Progressive Jackpot

There is a Progressive Jackpot played in 75 ball which the pattern being played is decisive in the amount of bingo numbers you will need to call in to win the progressive jackpot.

Bonus Ball

The bonus ball will appear to the left of your screen at the start of a game, bingo on this number and you also win the amount indicated.

No Show Zelda

This chat games requires any player that wishes to take part to pick three numbers between 1 and 90. In a variation to most chat games where you need your numbers to be called No Show Zelda requires that none of your three numbers are called within the first 20 calls and then you will be awarded a chat bonus.

Middle of the Road

Players who wish to participate in this chat game must pick two numbers between 31 and 60. If both of your chosen numbers are called within the first 8 bingo calls then you will win a chat bonus of 2 BB's.
