Bingo.com Review

Bingo.com is one of the most established brands around online today but it is only now that they have a real chance of being a contender in a saturated market. Originally launched using the Aberrant software we saw the site make a move to Cozy Games in 2010 which really didn't do the brand any favours. However another move for the brand now offers players the Virtue Fusion/Playtech software which is the best available online at the moment!

The new Bingo.com is part of the Parabol Games network. Land on the homepage of the site and the start of their new advertising campaign, the dalmation, adorns the pages along with a few other canines. You could be mistaken for thinking that you have landed on the RSPCA home page or is the brand simply asking you to "come and see our puppies?"

Registration is really simple with no requirements for financial details at this point. Just your name, address, date of birth, chosen username and a password. Ensure that you have used a valid email address because you will need to click a link in your welcome email to activate your accoun. Once registration is complete you have two choices - deposit now or deposit later - and then you can make a choice of room to play in.

Bingo.com isn't like many other sites on this platform; a new window doesn't open until you have chosen a room to play in whilst others open a new window for the lobby. You can see all the open rooms and the following information is available to view for each room:

  • Room Name
  • Bingo Variety
  • Ticket prices
  • Prize pot
  • Jackpot Amount
  • If a CM is on duty or not
  • Time until next game

Once you are in a room then the layout is a bit different to usual sites powered by this software. The tickets are to the left of your screen where chat usually is and the chat has moved to where the tickets usually are with the exception of Lucky Numbers Bingo which carries the same layout as other sites using the software. Across the top of your screen you have the option of open up to 5 bingo rooms all at once but flicking back and forth can sometimes see the rooms take a little time to load. Being a multi-lingual site you will find many different languages being spoken in the chat rooms.

Bingo.com has tried to do "standard" bingo better and it appears at first glance that they have succeeded in offering the players something a little different but with the security and comfort of a well known software provider in the world of internet bingo.

Bingo.com Games

Game Options

Bingo.com offers both 75 and 90 ball bingo games to their players with the 75 ball games being of the multi-line variety and also having a pattern offering in one room.

You have the option to customise your game play using the "Tools" menu that can be found next to your "bingo balance". Here you can choose to manually or automatically mark your cards, change your dabber style and colour and many other options.

Other Games

You will find the usual offering of bingo side games at this brand with firm favourites like Lucky Ladies 88, Clover Rollover and Big Top Tombola all available to play in the same window as your bingo game. Some of these instant win games offer progressive jackpots so it's well worth a spin or two occassionally!

Jackpots

Each room at Bingo.com has jackpots on offer aside from the standard pot prize. Some have both a static jackpot whilst others also have a progressive jackpot available. You can see how these jackpots can be won by hovering your mouse of them at the top of your screen.

Chat Games

You'll find a selection of chat games played in the rooms at Bingo.com and these can earn you extra bonuses if you are a winner, below is just one example of a game played in chat:

Mirror

Players are asked to choose two numbers that "mirror" each other (e.g. 25 and 52). When the game starts players need to keep an eye out for their chosen numbers because once they have been called they need to type "Mirror" and their chosen numbers in chat first in order to win the £1 bonus.

Community and Social

When in your bingo screen you can add "buddies" (friends in that chat room) and by doing this you are able to then send and receive emails via the software. You can also create your own profiles with as much or as little information as you want to share with other players at the site.

You can contact support at this site in a number of ways. We tested the Live Support option and found it a little time consuming - a wait of about 5 minutes before we even got connected to an operator and then a further 10 minutes before our query was answered.
