Born in the Midlands it was only when I was 3 years old that my Mum and Dad decided that a good Yorkshire up bringing was what I needed! Home cooked pies, long countryside walks and Sunday afternoons by the fire were the core of my childhood. My Mum is the eldest of five siblings and my Dad the youngest of four – so our house was (and still is) never quiet. A loving home and a loyal group of friends have led me to appreciate things in life and really kept me grounded.

At school I was never the quiet one in the corner - whether that was because of my infectious personality or the fact that I lived round the corner from school still remains to be seen. Knowing that I have always enjoyed writing I decided to pursue what I loved and studied a journalism degree up north in the land of Geordie’s.

Newcastle opened my eyes and living away from home of course presented its challenges, however you never get anywhere in life if you don’t push yourself. Not known for staying in all the time, Newcastle’s night life suited me down to the ground and this city gave me my first taste of bingo. I had never been to a bingo hall before so I didn’t quite know what to expect when I walked into Gala Bingo, however I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone has their thoughts on bingo halls and sadly I was one of them – but all my previous opinions have been binned and now I am a fully-fledged bingo fan!

As I am quite a social person I love the community feel that online bingo possesses. Chatting to people in the bingo chat rooms whist winning prizes makes the world of online bingo that bit more exciting.
